Wow. I guess the holidays sort of slow me down, huh? No excuses, really. But if any of you want to borrow my five kids, go for it. (Actually, the two olders are amazing and completely self-sufficient at this point…patting myself on the back.)
Now, let’s get back to it. Here is my long awaited (just kidding) post with pics about my Rent The Runway experience. I will absolutely do it again, and if they want to just give me a $700 dress, I will take it, no strings attached. Hear that, RTR??
I ordered my dress(es) on Cyber Monday and got such a great deal that I ordered two instead of one just in case. The beautiful thing is that when you order, you can choose two sizes so that there is absolutely no chance that a dress normally worn by a model won’t fit you, unless, of course, you choose a size that is not yours to begin with. So, I got four dresses total, two different labels, and had a blast trying them on. Upon check out I was also offered a deal on a pair of earrings. Yes, they were clip ons, and yes, they were really not my style, AND yes, they kept falling off of my ears…probably due to my animated talking and hand gestures, BUT nonetheless, they made the outfit and I am glad I opted for them!
While I did not look like the model on the internet, I was still really pleased with how the dresses fit and felt on my body. So was Colin, ahem.
I cannot wait to do this again!
